Christian Munthe

Excerpt from the email sent to the Keele VC, et.al.:

PEAK is an internationally outstanding unit in the field of applied ethics and both Stephen Wilkinson and Angus Dawson are world-leading in their fields, and Dawson is a pioneer in the establishment of public health ethics as an internationally recognized field of research. PEAK's publication list is very impressive (many papers in the best regarded journals and books published by the most highly regarded academic houses) and expands at a steady pace. I have also been given to understand that PEAK has, over the years, been an important income source for the university – and external research funding should keep coming to a unit of PEAK's unquestionable quality. Considering that PEAK achieves all of this with a staff of only eight people is quite remarkable och should mean that, in fact, this is an uncommonly cost-effective academic unit.
